Olakira camp

Olakira Migrational Camp honors historical trade routes, where merchants once traveled across the Serengeti, trading spices and ivory. Combining wood and canvas, the mobile camp creates a traditional safari feel with subtle Moroccan influences. Each tent includes an en-suite bathroom with hot running water, a flushing toilet, and an authentic outdoor bucket shower. Private verandas provide a space for guests to relax, enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness. Mesh-covered stargazing tents offer an extraordinary experience, allowing guests to sleep under a sky filled with stars.

Handwoven rugs adorn the mess tent, and copper lanterns cast a warm glow over the night. Dinner is served in the dining tent or under the stars, letting guests immerse themselves in the African night sky. Afterward, guests gather around the campfire to share stories of the day’s wildlife encounters. Meals are freshly prepared onsite, offering a mix of Western and African dishes tailored to guest preferences. For game drives or excursions, chefs prepare picnic meals to enjoy in the bush.
