This is the ultimate paradise: stunning, tropical Zanzibar! The white sand beaches bordered with palm trees and the crystal-clear blue seas of the Indian Ocean seem almost too good to be true. Enjoy the delectable Zanzibari cuisine, spend hours swimming or tanning, and purchase your fresh coconut drink on the beach. Do you want to do anything active? After that, engage in a variety of activities to discover the island, beach, and ocean! We strongly suggest a visit of Stone Town or the Safari Blue Cruise.
'Karibu Tanzania - welcome to Tanzania!' says your own Tanzania Specialist guide as you exit Kilimanjaro International Airport, beaming broadly. You are taken directly to your accommodation by the guide, where you may unwind and enjoy the African ambience. Your guide takes you on a private, exclusive safari the following day, letting you go at your own speed. Savor the comforts of your personal safari vehicle and feel free to pause and observe the wildlife for as long as you wish!
Large herds of elephants and an abundance of enormous baobab trees are two of Tarangire National Park's most famous features. Since elephants have a unique method for extracting water from these trees, which can survive for hundreds of years, they serve as a source of water for them during the dry season. Additionally, during the dry season, the Tarangire River serves as the only supply of water, which is why herds of up to 250 elephants can be seen in Tarangire alongside a variety of other creatures.
Due in large part to the Great Migration that travels through the Serengeti National Park, it is well recognized as a safari destination. The sheer number of predators that inhabit this area—more than 4,000 lions, 225 cheetahs, 1,000 leopards, 3500 hyenas, and hundreds of wild dogs—is as astonishing as the massive, stampeding herds! Naturally, there are many more stunning creatures that your guide will be happy to look for with you. Are you prepared for this?
Among Africa's seven natural wonders is the well-known Ngorongoro Crater. Two million years ago, a massive volcano erupted, creating the crater. There are now more creatures in this special ecosystem than anyplace else in Africa thanks to the fertile lava! Once you enter the crater, you will be surrounded by thousands of animals, including buffalo, zebras, black rhinos, and lions. The sights are so breathtaking that you won't know where to look! View the park's video here.
The ideal location for a day of relaxation in between safaris is the Manyara Best View Lodge, which is close to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy the excellent service and breathtaking views while spending the entire day at the lodge's infinity pool. Or you explore the many activities nearby, such as going mountain biking, going to a local market, hiking along the lake or the Great Rift Valley wall, or going on a nighttime game drive. You have a choice!
The end of 12 Day Safari
The final day! You can spend more time exploring the island or just lounging on the beach, depending on when your flight is. After that, you are driven to Zanzibar International Airport so you may catch your trip home.
The best time to visit Tanzania depends on preferences. The dry season (June to October & December to February) is great for safaris but expensive. The mid-season (March & November) balances affordability and crowds, while the wet season offers lower prices.
